Who We Are

I'd like to thank you for taking the time to learn more about Yellow Wood Media Solutions. I have created media productions for a variety of platforms - from directing live television to writing for newspapers to managing company social media accounts to producing a PBS documentary to doing video marketing in the non-profit sector. I enjoy all of this, but my favorite is the creativity that comes with creating video - from the initial idea spark to the creative angles to the editing.

I know how valuable of a tool video can be to a marketing strategy, and that's why I created Yellow Wood Media Solutions - to create affordable, quality video productions for non-profits and small businesses can share their stories. Every single person reading this has an amazing story to tell - whether it's a client who has benefited from your services, an amazing new product you're offering, or the history of your organization. I want to help you tell that story.

I am going to take literally 10 seconds here to tell you a bit about myself before talking about why I started Yellow Wood Media Solutions. So here we go – I love music and theater – both performing it and watching it. I have a cat named Watson, and I’m married to my awesome husband David, who spoils me with flowers. I have degrees in both journalism and electronic media broadcasting. I’ve worked in everything from radio to public TV to print and gotten some awards along the way.

And that brings me to why I started Yellow Wood Media Solutions. With my background in journalism – and experience doing videography in the non-profit sector – I have a passion for telling impactful stories. Stories are what connect us to each other, and video gives the opportunity to add an interactive, creative, human layer to that story that other platforms simply can’t provide.

Every person watching this has a story to tell, and I want to be part of helping you tell that story.
